Louisville Guitar Orchestra
A Community Guitar Orchestra for ALL Ages and Skill Levels !
The Louisville Guitar Orchestra is a fun and inclusive group looking to give local guitarists an opportunity to meet and play with other guitarists, in an ensemble setting. We explore a wide variety of musical genres and styles, while learning about fingerpicking and classical styles of guitar.
About LGO:
The Louisville Guitar Orchestra has been a corner stone of LGS for many years. This guitar ensemble is centered around bringing musicians from across Kentucky together to collaborate and create music.
No professional skills are required to join the Louisville Guitar Orchestra, all ages, skill levels, and guitar playing styles are welcome! We just ask that you come to rehearsals, practice a little bit, and have fun.
Current Director: Carlos Bedoya (Guitar Professor at UofL)
